KOH is located at 5510 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92503. We highly advise the people to be careful about those companies and individuals that offer lifetime or unlimited mileage warranties on their reconditioned or aftermarket battery products! A lot of them go bankrupt, re-open with different names, and sometimes another address, and some have a strategy of Draining the customer financially; so they will keep replacing not defective parts, so they can recover money and make money by continuing to claim that their battery is fine! For example they will start with the battery, then the fan, then the inverter, then pumps and so on.... You do not even want to trust their diagnosis!

The sole remedy of any of our warranty is clearly expressed to provide repair or replacement of the detective KOH products only. And that exclude any other and all other damages that may exist because of any of our products or any type of our services (such as but not limited to); incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, economic loss, loss of property or profits, loss of enjoyment or use, or other consequential damages of any kind ,arising from the purchase, use, repair, or maintenance of equipment or parts, all other remedies and damages that might otherwise be applicable are excluded. Furthermore, KOH does not pay or compensate in any way for any of these repairs, replacements, losses, damages, or the product substitute in any other way at all. All the terms in this document will be considered in case of potential warranty.
This limited warranty only covers the KOH products that are being purchased to be used only in the United states and Canada. You have certain legal rights under this guarantee, and those rights may differ by province or state. The laws of California, USA, will be governed to any disputes pertaining to this Limited Warranty. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights. And KOH reserves the right to revise this limited warranty without notice anytime.

The terms "Normal Conditions" and "Reasonable Circumstances" That are explained in the documents that we provide with the purchasing, please do not hesitate to ask about any info or to ask for any missing documents or instructions since it's your responsibility to make sure you have it.

Our complete used third generation panasonic/Toyota OEM battery's modules and battery rebuild kits come with Eighteen months or 18K miles whichever comes first limited warranty.

The length of your hybrid battery warranty is listed on your purchase receipt. The starting date of your warranty period is the date listed on your sale's receipt. For your warranty to remain valid, your old hybrid battery must be returned to KOH within 15 days from the time of purchase. Certain exclusions do apply and are described in detail in this Limited Warranty Policy. This Limited Warranty is only valid against defects reported within the time period as spelled out in the documentation that you received when you purchased your battery.
The original listed purchaser can transfer the warranty to a new owner if and only if the transfer is being made within ten (10) days of the vehicle sale date. Only one (1) transfer of ownership is allowed during the warranty period and KOH must receive the new owners name, address and telephone number within 10 days of the official date of transfer in order for the warranty to remain valid for the duration of the warranty period.
The following actions and conditions are not covered under KOH's Limited Warranty Policy:
If the service was KOH inhouse or KOH mobile installed; to make any warranty valid, the car has to be brought safely to the shop (under the customer's full expense), so we can do our own diagnosis. If KOH finds the product is defective, and all the warranty conditions have been met, then in its sole discretion KOH will either repair or replace the KOH product without charge.
If the service was not KOH inhouse or not KOH mobile installed;To make any warranty valid; KOH product has to be returned to KOH or an authorized KOH dealer, as instructed by KOH, together with evidence of the original purchasing order by the direct customer considering all the terms of this limited warranty with all the mentioned terms here.
●If the battery core/ or the defective battery is not packaged properly by the consumer and damaged on the return, the buyer may not be refunded the core charge, or refunded a reduced amount, if it is damaged in the shipping.
●If the defective battery is not packaged properly by the consumer and damaged on the return, the buyer will lose the warranty , otherwise if the damage was a result of the shipping and not related to the way of the packaging at all, then the value of the core will not be refunded or reduced amount depending on KOH sole discretion.
●In the event of a warranty claim, KOH will need detailed diagnostic paperwork from a hybrid specialist certified repair facility, including the DTC codes and a professional documentation of the diagnosis performed if it was not conducted by KOH. KOH is not responsible for any diagnostic charges of other repair facilities or any other expenses. Also a proof of the monitors' data has to be submitted, including the mileage the DTC appears, and to prove that the 12V battery was not disconnected and the DTC codes were not cleared, by providing the mileage related to both mileage values.
●A diagnosis performed at KOH and found to be a faulty battery, will not be a charged diagnostic.
●Proof of cleaning the HV battery fan and the filter (if the car has filter, if not submit a picture that proof the car does not have one) have to be submitted within 24 hours of the battery installed, and a regular service for them has to be implemented after that according to the dealership schedule maintenance. In case of warranty, pictures are required to prove that the fan and filter are not clogged and they are clean, and working properly, so the battery was not damaged because of overheating.
●If there is no obvious current DTC code indicated that the battery modules are bad then we will not replace the battery, any other reason like “ my car mile per gallon is going lower”, or “ the car drives weird or not like before”, or “fan works all the time”, or any thing related to feelings not code , that does not justify any warranty.
●The return shipments costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
●In case of a warranty of a potential warranty claim, the customer has to ship the battery properly and to provide the proper documents and pictures of the fan and filter. All the mentioned warranty terms have to be met. We as KOH will do our own diagnosis to make sure that the failure is in the battery modules and it's not due to any of the reasons that will lead to void the warranty. If the warranty terms were met and the battery was faulty under the normal conditions , then we will replace it at no cost and the customer has to pay the shipment fees of the replacement. If the battery is found to be good and the customer provides a not accurate diagnosis, then a $350 diagnosis fee will be charged and the customer has to pay to ship the product back to him within 5 days of the result, otherwise the customer will lose the battery and the warranty.
